In Matthew 9:37, Jesus teaches that the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. We really feel that in lost Japan. Would you prayerfully consider coming to Japan and joining our team in this labor of love? You can serve in a variety of ways:

Teaching English. You could help build relationships with Japanese people who want to speak the English language with native speakers. You can also have the chance to explain the gospel to attentive listeners during an English-language Bible Study during each class, some of whom may be hearing it for the very first time. There are no special education requirements for this job, only skills in speaking English.

Teaching at our Christian School. Covenant Community School International (CCSI) is always looking for qualified teachers to teach at our school. The ability to teach multi-level classes is particularly important. We also are looking for godly, mature, proactive teenagers who can work as volunteer assistant teachers for 10 months after high school and before going to college.

Church Planting. Are you interested in starting new churches? Discipling believers? Evangelism? Teaching Bible Studies? You will have numerous opportunities to practice any of these things on the mission field. There is also a strong need for teaching or ruling elders here in Japan, so ordained men are particularly encouraged to consider joining us.

These are not the only possibilities. The mission field is a flexible place, and many other gifts like music, cooking, etc. can also be a valuable service. Your own ideas or vision for ministry may also be possible.
