Sally Dangler

Sally became a Christian at the age of 15. She first heard about the spiritual need in Japan while in college and went on a short-term mission trip there in the summer of 1982. While there she was impressed with the need for Christian outreach around the world. After teaching special education in the States for several years and another year spent in Japan as a short-term missionary, the call to career mission service became clear, and she joined Mission to the World’s Tokyo/Chiba church-planting team in 1992.

Japan remains one of the neediest nations in the world with less than one percent of its 126 million people professing to know Jesus as Savior and Lord. Over the last 15 years the team in Japan has seen the Lord establish five new churches and bring together 13 churches to form a new presbytery. Their goal is to see a reformed and covenantal church multiplication movement in Japan. Sally’s part in this work includes teaching evangelistic Bible studies and English classes, discipling women, training and overseeing short-term workers and two-week teams and helping with overall coordination for the work of the
long-term team.

Pray that multitudes in Japan may come to know the one true
living God and worship Him.
